Johannes Debus has been Music Director of the Canadian Opera Company since 2009. Recent seasons included productions of Rusalka, Hänsel und Gretel, Otello, Elektra and Eugene Onegin.

From an early age, she demonstrated an innate musical maturity and outstanding technical abilities.

Born in Moscow, Alexandra started learning how to play the violin at the age of five and gave her first concert two years later.
