Another GYSO musician, cellist Stamatia Sgouropoulou, represented our orchestra overseas, this time in collaboration with the Spanish National Youth Orchestra JONDE, Joven Orquesta Nacional de España.
The seven concerts given by the orchestra in the cities of Madrid, Seville, Huelva, Badajoz, Cuenca, Valladolid and Santander featured Igor Stravinsky’s “The Rite of Spring”, with works by Piotrkiewicz Ilic.
