A few days before their collaboration on stage at the Municipal Theatre of Pireaus, the GYSO hosted Alexandra Soumm for a free Violin Masterclass, as part of the orchestra’s educational activities.
The GYSO’s musicians, as well as the public, aged 14 to 30, regardless of their knowledge and skills, had the opportunity to meet the renowned violinist and receive her guidance and valuable advice.
During the masterclass, Alexandra Soumm focused on technical and expressive aspects of the young musicians’ performances, listened carefully to them and answered their questions, while sharing her personal musical experience, aiming to inspire them to discover their full potential.
