The GYSO invited by the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam

Following celebrated performances in major venues in Europe and the USA, the Greek Youth Symphony Orchestra (GYSO) is invited by the prestigious Concertgebouw in Amsterdam to give a concert on Wednesday, August 6th, 2025.

Under the baton of its Founder & Artistic Director, Dionysis Grammenos, the GYSO performs a program that balances between the emotion of James MacMillan’s Larghetto for Orchestra, as well as the grandeur and passion of Johannes Brahms’ Symphony No. 3, a cornerstone of the Romantic repertoire. Acclaimed soloist Anna Fedorova joins the orchestra once again, this time for Sergei Rachmaninoff’s fiery Piano Concerto No. 1.

The famous Main Hall of the Concertgebouw is one of the best concert halls in the world, known for its exceptional acoustics and special atmosphere.
