“Over time, dance has become an essential element of human nature and culture, as well as a great source of inspiration for musical works’ composition.
Tonight we will explore the history and connection of Music with Dance, as captured and performed by distinguished 19th and 20th centuries’ composers; Antonin Dvorak from Bohemia, Alexander Borodin from St. Petersburg, the Parisian Camille Saint-Saëns, Johannes Brahms, the great Romantic from Germany, and the pioneer Greek Nikos Skalkottas, managed to capture through music the very pulse of life. Their melodies gave sound to the emotions of the people and left their mark on the character of societies throughout the world.”
