The GYSO in Thessaloniki
The Greek Youth Symphony Orchestra (GYSO) opens its second artistic period with two concerts on December 15 in Athens and December 17 in Thessaloniki, under the direction of its founder and music director, Dionysis Grammenos. Two of the leading Greek piano soloists, Alexia Mouza in Athens and Vassilis Varvaresos in Thessaloniki, will participate in the concerts, while a work entitled “Atlas” will be presented at a world premiere, created by Harry Stafylakis.
